WILDLIFE AT LAKESIDE COTTAGE

If you love nature then this is the place for you.  The garden, reedbed and surrounding woodland provide a haven for a myriad of wildlife including bittern, hen harrier, kingfisher and otter, all of which have been spotted at the lake edge.  

Throughout the year, as the seasons ebb and flow, there is always something to see. 

In late winter, you may be lucky enough to witness a spectacle of nature over the lake - a murmuration of starlings, a truly breathtaking sight. Through spring and into summer, as the spring flowers are emerging and the garden is a buzz with birds there is always a new species to spot.  As Autumn glides gently in, the peace and tranquility of the cottage provides a restful setting in which to relax and unwind after a long walk.
